JOB VACANCY: GRADUATE INTERN GRADE C1, MICROBIOLOGY AND MEDICAL DEVICES UNIT
The Medicines Control Authority of Zimbabwe (MCAZ) is inviting qualified, honest, self-motivated and experienced applicants for the following post:-
Graduate Intern – 1 Post
1.0 Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Analyst, the internship focus shall be in the following areas;
- Assist in Regulation and quality conformity assessment of medical devices
- Participate in cGMP inspections of manufacturing sites and storage places for medical devices
- Assist in generation of analytical reports and certificates of analysis.
- Assist in preparation of registration reports for new products/applicants.
- Assist in documentation of test methods for analysis
- Issue consignment release letters to customers.
- Assist in facilitating servicing, calibration and maintenance of equipment.
- Assist in development, implementation and maintenance of QMS
- Participate in method verifications
- Perform quality control of data
- Any other duties as assigned by the Senior Analyst or Manager, Microbiology and Medical Devices.
2.0 Requirements
2.1 Bachelor of Science degree in either Biology, Biological Sciences or equivalent.
2.2 Computer literacy
2.3 Good analytical skills.
2.4 Good medical devices and analysis techniques.
