The Evaluations & Registration Division is responsible for registering medicines (for both human and veterinary use) intended for sale in Zimbabwe. All medicines sold in Zimbabwe must be registered as stipulated in the Medicines and Allied Substances Control Act [15:03] and its Principal Regulations (SI 150 of 1991).

There are special exemptions for importation of unregistered medicines for individuals in terms of Section 75 of the Act [15:03]. On site you will find the documentation required to be submitted when applying for the registration of a medicine.
